I probably would have never picked this book up on my own, but I figured I’d give Anna Dressed in Blood a shot for two reasons: The only thing not as much a surprise as Blake may have hoped: The second half, unfortunately, put me to sleep.

I loved the storyline I have nothing wrong with that but there are a few things I have a problem with. Anna, who is scary as heck, attacks and almost kills Carmel, and all she says is “My god, she’s awful”. She makes you feel sorry for her though, which at first seems like an impossible feat, and yet it definitely happens.
